XPEL Window Tinting.
The weather has been getting hotter and under the scorching sun, the temperature inside the car may be as high as 40 to 60 degrees Celsius, and the dashboard might reach up to 70 degrees Celsius. When we open the car door that is exposed to the sun, a heatwave will be rushed towards our face. A window tinting is now an essential element that you need to have.
Many people will subconsciously feel that the darker the tint, the better the heat rejection. In fact, there are various parameters of the film, such as technology, performance, infrared rejection rate, light transmittance, and UV rejection to be taken into consideration.
There are a few categories and generations of window tinting technology.
Dye film.
Dye film window tinting heat rejection is very poor, it depends on the color of the film and is mainly for aesthetic purposes. Inferior tint contains many harmful substances which are bad for the health.
Heat-absorbing film.
The difference from dyed film window tinting is that it uses a deep dyeing process and adding an infrared absorber to the glue. It will only last for a short period of time and the clarity is poor. The inferior tint will also be prone to discoloration, bubbling, and even peculiar smell, which is harmful to health.
Metalized film.
Metalized window tinting uses a vacuum evaporation process, by adding metal particles. It has very good heat rejection properties but it has a tendency to affect the electronic signals.
Multilayer sputter.
Multilayer sputter window tinting uses sputtering technology to sputter nickel, silver, titanium, gold, ceramics, and other material on the film in multiple layers. It has the advantage of high definition and high heat rejection. It also can affect GPS signals and is prone to oxidize over time.
Nano-ceramic film.
Currently the most popular window tinting in the market. At present, with the advancement of science and technology, the car window tinting industry has developed to the latest generation with a multi-layer nanoparticle insulation film, which uses vacuum sputtering technology to form a nano-level ceramic layer on a polyester film, using titanium nitride ceramic material.
PRIME XR Plus
XPEL Prime XR Plus window film provides unparalleled quality and with the highest performance balanced ratio. XR Plus we guaranteed for life! XPEL window tint has a genuine SGS test report from the USA and is also recommended by SKIN CANCER Foundation as an effective UV protectant. XPEL tint provides SPF 1000 protection that effectively blocks 99% of harmful UVA and UVB rays that lead to numerous skin cancers, premature aging, and skin cell damage.
In traditional technology, the better the heat rejection effect, the darker the color of the tint. XPEL adopts advanced technology and research, with the multi-layer nanoparticles, there is no need to reduce the visual clarity and light transmittance. XR Plus is optically clear and will not interfere with electronic signals in the car.
In the automotive film industry, XPEL has an environmental protection inspection certificate from an authoritative organization that no harmful volatile gases such as formaldehyde and benzene are emitted, which can provide a fresh car environment and protect the health of the people in the car.
XPEL XR Plus adheres to XPEL’s spirit of always attaching importance to quality, and provides choice for car owners. It has a higher total thermal energy barrier rate and provides a lifetime warranty, no blistering, no discoloration, no peeling, no cracking, and no bubbling.
